Compared to former school equipment the MIXI Learning System represents a new generation. A generation that allows teachers to use the top-down teaching method and to initate projects.
The educational methodology is an important part of the learning system.
The Students' Guide
contains information connected to the
use of the system, as well as theory - hard to find even in the specialized
literature. The Teacher's Guide includes the recommended ways of using the
learning system, the recommended didactic method of the applications, the
way of developing new applications, as well as the hardware description of
the motherboard intended to facilitate development.
Beyond the handbooks connected to the whole of the system, the methodology contains separate manuals for the students and for the teacher in case of all teaching aids. The Student's Measuring Manual contains the theoretical knowledge connected to the given subject, as well as exercises that help gaining practical skills and troubleshooting. The manual for the teacher has the same content as the Student's Measuring Manual, supplemented with the solutions of the exercises.
In case of some teaching aids a computer software is also part of
the methodology. These teaching aids are marked with a computer monitor
in our descriptions.
In order to help teachers to improve their professional work we are
preparing an authorized
postgraduate course for teachers, using the modern tools of
distance learning. The demo version is also available.
As a goal of this project we would like to achieve that teachers
attain and improve their knowledge connected to the use of teaching
aids, both in general and in view of the MIXI applications.
